Family Friendly Artsy Afternoons

This summer we are taking a more family friendly approach to our Ladies' Night Out workshops. Most of them will be held on Sunday afternoons rather than the usual Thursday evenings to further encourage you to come as a family. No artistic experience necessary.

MOTHER'S DAY WORKSHOP: Mosaic a Pot for Mom
DATE: Sunday, May 3
TIME: 1:00-4:00pm
INSTRUCTOR: Linda Elkins
COST: $25/person or pair (includes all materials to mosaic one medium size
pot)
Jazz up your container garden while spending some quality mom/daughter/sister
time. Have fun working together to mosaic ceramic pots, using broken tiles and
plates to transform plain into colorful and interesting. Whether you bring your
mom, daughter, and friend, or just yourself, you will leave with a unique gift
that anyone would love! We will even supply some seeds for planting in your new
artful object! Ages 8 and up. Children under 13 should be accompanied by an
adult.

FATHER’S DAY WORKSHOP: Design a T-Shirt for Dad
DATE: Sunday, June 14
TIME: 1:00-4:00pm
INSTRUCTOR: Rachelle Branum
COST: $35/person or family (includes one t-shirt and all materials
for transferring design)
Come design and print a one of a kind hand-printed t-shirt to give
to Dad on his special day. Bring older children (ages 8 and up) to
help draw or your younger children’s drawings and then transfer
the images to fabric. The dad in your life will have the funkiest
duds on the tennis court (or basketball court, or golf course, or
grill competition...you get the picture!) When registering, please
specify Dad’s t-shirt size.
