ArtHaus is pleased to welcome past Slam winner and ArtHaus teaching artist JUNE MELBY as this month's featured artist. FIRST FRIDAY: TalkStory, featuring John Dingley
DATE: March 2
TIME: Friday, 8pm
COST: $5/$3 students
LOCATION: ArtHaus
Our favorite Welsh stonemason and storyteller John Dingley will start us off with a few of his favorites. Then you're encouraged to put your name in the hat to tell your true story, inspired by the theme of the evening, "Blarney." (Doesn't everyone have a story that sounds invented but is true?) Tell yours in seven minutes or less with no script or notes. Recommended for adults, ages 16 and up. Hosted by Kyra Bellrichard. For helpful tips on telling a story well, visit www.arthausdecorah.org/talkstory. BYOB ok.
