CALL FOR ARTISTS: 2nd Annual Emerging Artists' Exhibition at ArtHaus
ArtHaus seeks artists ages 18-23 to submit 2-D and 3-D artwork to the 2nd annual Emerging Artists' Exhibition. The exhibition runs from April 6-27th and is open to residents and students within a 100-mile radius of Decorah. Interested applicants must send digital images with an application form, brief artist statement, and entry fee of $20 by Friday, March 2nd.

Decorah's Home to the Visual & Performing Arts

ArtHaus is Decorah’s home for the arts bringing visual, performing, and literary art together under one roof and offering creative programs for all ages.
Kristen Underwood and Lea Donhowe Lovelace opened ArtHaus in the fall of 2008 to provide a bright and beautiful venue for quality art education and experiences in the heart of downtown Decorah, IA. Now in two locations, ArtHaus (508 W. Water St.) and ArtHaus Studio (516 W. Water St.), they offer professional instruction in visual, performing and literary arts to students of all ages. ArtHaus also hosts free and low-cost events throughout the year such as film showings, poetry slams, gallery openings, wine tastings, theatre, dance, and live music.


Home to Little Masters Art Studio and Upstart Crow Theatreworks, ArtHaus functions as a non-profit organization under the sponsorship of Driftless Art Collective (formerly Decorah Regional Art Council).
