ARTSTUDIO CLASSES AT ARTHAUSThe focus of our ArtStudio classes is based on a process-oriented art experience in an open studio format. The studio is set up into multiple stations where children are invited to explore a wide range of art materials and techniques. The teachers provide instruction and serve as guides and facilitators through the creative process, thereby supporting each child in their unique creative expression. Children learn to trust their own creative impulses and how to make their artistic visions a reality.

This fall ArtHaus offers a variety of options for the 4-5 year olds and their parents. If you are looking for an in-depth art program and feel your child can handle two hours in the studio, sign them up for both the ArtStudio (open studio) and the Art Exploration (lesson-based class) for a reduced rate. If you feel your child does better with the open studio format rather than the teacher-led lesson approach, only do the first hour. Likewise, if your child has enough free-choice time at school and thrives on learning about artists and exploring their own creativity through teacher-led activities, just come for the second hour. Something for everyone! (If you are signing your child up for both ArtStudio and Art Exploration for a 2-hour art experience take $15 off your registration fee.)
