Participants in the 8th annual Nordic Fest Theatre Project (a collaboration between Vesterheim Museum, Upstart Crow Theatreworks, and ArtHaus), will dive into the secret life of trolls. This much-maligned creature makes an appearance in a multitude of cultural fables and myths of the past and present, but what does it really mean to be a troll? Each day of the two-week program will include theatre warm-ups and games, designed to build the skills needed for performance. We'll tour Vesterheim's collection, and use stories, music, and legend as reference material to create our original play to be presented during Nordic Fest.
